It wasn't the date that screamed "fake" to me--it was the Indian's profile.

I suspect the obverse was titled to confuse people, but there's still that "bold N" reverse.

fake
This seller is also on my pet peeve list. They sell fake coins. They also sell fake 1922 Lincoln Cents. I've reported them and messaged them in the past, and they just got belligerent and said I was trying to talk down their nice coins so they'd sell cheap. Nice! Criminals!

The sad thing is ebay's management set themselves up for the state they are in by adopting the policies they have in the last five plus years thereby allowing sellers like this to thrive on their web site.

ebay is doing exactly what Wall Street expects, and demands, they do. Make money no matter what.

For some reason it particularly bothers me that the obverse is shown sideways, I'm sure the seller did it intentionally to make it more difficult to determine authenticity.
