As I had to lower my purchase aspirations of late I bought 350 nickels from George V to QE2. Only paid 18 bucks, just need to work out why I bought them and what to look for now lol!

If you could have talked him down to $17 you would be up a half dollar. Have fun organizing it, the whole lot should be a keeper.

Now my Victorian and Edwardian MS 25 and 50c's have gone it helps to fill up the safe.....

Excellent deal...that's $17.50 FV for $18, including KG-V's. It's a no-brainer acquisition as far as I'm concerned + hours of fun!

OK folks......results from sorting............217 pre 1982 round nickels.........one 1980 with carp/fish on it, one 1867-1967 with rabbit on it, one 1945-2005 with torch on it, and three with 1952-2002 on them. More interesting results to follow.

47 12 sided QE2 coins............and 35 post 1982 coins.

1952 4 coins, 1951 2 coins, 1950 2 coins, 1949 4 coins, 1947 3 coins, 1946 2 coins, 1945 6 coins, 1944 1 coin, 1943 I coin odd looking as looks brass in colour, 1942 I coin, 1941 1 coin.
