That''s my birth year set. I don't know why, but when I was 6 or 7 I always called those toonies ,,The Donut Coin" , not because of the coin, but the design. It was only when I started collecting did I notice that it in fact was not a donut.

Mine goes back a bit further... the rarer 1970 VIP Specimen set.

I don't have any special coins from my birth year, so I "borrowed" one from cyber space.

For my Birth Year, I have 233 coins from 84 different countries, with government issued year sets from 4 countries. Since, this is the Canadian section, I will post my 1968 Canadian Proof Like Set

yes very nice... so it seems we have some 15 year olds to 55 year olds, interesting. I really like the 1968 set, especially the 1 cent.
There is something to be said about the 1 cent coin, to save 11 million dollars is really not that much money in the long run and the government. However that is another topic...

1998 RCMP 125th anniversary proof set. Was given it for my 16th birthday not too long ago. Also, the Nickel has some nice gold/yellow toning on the rim around the bottom. The birth years seem to be only 90s and 60s.
