So anyone here that knows me.. knows that I've been working my tail off since the summer on landscaping and home renovations... well since tomorrow is my birthday.. the wife decided that I would get the morning off today... What were the first two things I wanted to do you ask? #1 - Go get a massage... #2 - Go to the LCS and see what they had... Well I'm sure glad I did! Massage was great... but at the LCS.. I managed to pick up this 2012 gold coin (my son was born in 2012) and I was also born in the year of the dragon... So this was a no brainer... it's gold and has relavence.. and quite the discount from issue price... not quite Bullion value.. but I'm not going to get nit picky... Then I was shown a whole bunch of other interesting items.. such a penny stamped on a twoonie core.. and three pennies all smooshed into one that graded 65 and looked like a bullet casing.. When I asked the price my only response was.. "c'mon.. this is me... !! Show me something a weee bit more reasonable" He then showed me this 1900H penny.. WOW did is sparkle and shine! Only thing I don't really like is the weak strike on the "N" in CENTS... (is this common?) Anyways thought I would share ... anyone care to guess the grade?

Many happy and healthy returns of the day to you.
The Canadian penny looks BU to me, possibly Gem BU. How much was it and did you buy it ?

Nice Haul! I have a feeling the 1900-H is graded ICCS MS64 Red (but may be closer to a red brown) Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, AgCoinAu! We won't ask what birthday it was, but may there be many more such birthdays and many more beautiful large cents like that one.

First thank you to all ... For the kind replies. Slur.. I have copied that image and made it my wallpaper such a nice thought! Pertinax the coin by UK standards may grade VF.... But here with ICCS it's a 65 RED. (LoL)
My question to everyone though is the weak strike common for this coin?
This is my first 65 coin ..... But the N in cents looks almost non existent

That couldn't be described as VF.
As I said, the Canadian penny looks BU to me, possibly Gem BU.
I always try to buy a nice coin for my birthday, though without a wife to hold me back, I sometimes get carried away.
