Of course it's fake. Any legitimate, nice, rare coin will be third party graded to be marketable. You can also check the Seller's "feedback" and see that he has been dinged twice for Selling counterfeits. ebay doesn't care what is listed and sold as long as they get their fees AND that the Seller will make a refund if the Buyer files a complaint.

That's not true, I still get listings removed every day.

Well, looks like that one didn't get pulled in spite of it being reported several times, now did it? I still stand by my previous comment that ebay doesn't care as long as they get their fees and that the Seller makes a refund if the Buyer complains. The Seller's feedback shows he has been nailed for selling counterfeits and is still selling them. If ebay really wanted to make a statement they would have suspended him. It's all about the money and nothing else.

Who reported it? I didn't because it was just about over by the time I saw it. It only had 58 minutes left when it was posted here which is not enough time. If I had seen it this morning, it would have been removed.

The fact that the Seller has knowingly been selling counterfeits, has been reported for it, and has been nailed for it through his feedback, should be enough for ebay to have placed the Seller on "watch" and raised the flag. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way anymore. It's a free for all. If the Seller gets by with selling counterfeits, and the Buyer doesn't complain, then ebay is happy. As far as they are concerned, they have their fees and they have two satisfied customers. All ebay cares about is fees (and if Sellers make refunds when an item is returned for SNAD). Until the Seller gets shutdown or arrested it will continue.

If the deal is too good to be true, it probably is something to pass on. IMOHO
