I thought with this being 2014, the fiftieth anniversary of the JFK Half Dollar, I would make my collection of 2014 JFK varieties complete by adding a nice 2014 circulation-finish JFK to my collection.

So I bought the P&D Roll Set.

Now I know why I don't usually buy NIFC JFK rolls...

I did find one lone higher-grade specimen with great eye appeal, a "D".

And a few of the others were above "donation/spending" level. The coins in the "D" roll were better than the coins in the "P" roll, but this is like saying one car was less damaged in an accident, compared with the other.

At $32.95 for one really nice Half, even this starts to make some sense (and I'm not the biggest fan of TPG slabbed coins, except for verification of keydates and such).

$32.95 for a roll + Cost of slab + S&H.... is it worth it to sell on ebay? But if you just buy the roll and lucky enough find the coin to keep without getting it slabbed, then IMO yes.
