For the R in TRUST - those are not separation lines? What are they and how do you tell the difference? Okay - I can't really make out splits, but must they be present for it to be a doubled die? I have seen some examples which do not appear to have them. The letters of LIBER also look fatter than the TY.

The devices on the large dates look larger in size. Common to make this mistake.

I understand typically for a doubled die more than one device typically has doubling but the R in TRUST definitely doesn't look like MD to me...is this die deteriation than?

If it were a doubled die, then all the other devices in that area would be affected. Looks like a case of coin contact that hit the "R".

Note the hub doubling and size of the devices how they are increased.
