She wasn't too thrilled with the price estimate I gave her on them, so she's making me post them here for an accurate value estimate.

$6-$10 for the whole lot, and that is being generous. What was she thinking, $30 each?

A dealer would probably pay face are very close to it and sell them in a "cull" lot for $1.50 a piece.

I'd go maybe 5 for the lot of them. Pretty rough looking bunch.

Yeah those are in pretty bad shape. People frequently think their stuff is worth so much more than it is, especially if there is any sentimental attachment.

I finally let her see the series of replies here and she conceded to y'all's expert opinions. She agreed to sell me all three for $5.

I can't believe you 'ripped' her off so bad. I'd have paid $5.50!

I am glad she could see reason! Now just to get her to start bringing you everything interesting she finds in the wild, so you have first pick!

From the top
1) face value
2) $1.50
3) $2.00

A coin dealer probably wouldn't want them. Small margin stuff that takes more time to sell than it is worth unless it was bought and sold in bulk.

What were her original thoughts as to their value?

She didn't actually make me an offer, she refused my initial one because I had 3 other coworkers telling her that I was trying to rip her off.

I was initially offering her 2 each for the tattered pair and 3 for the better one.

I would have paid her the original offer of $7 in the end, however she refused to take my $2 bill and settled for the $5.
