Here is a picture of my whole horde. Followed by some close ups of a few of the higher dollar pieces.

Looks like you took the shotgun approach.
Whatever was pleasing to your eyes (and you could afford) you bought.

Sooner or later (preferably sooner) you should select one or two specialties.
But for now you are getting to see the REAL coins.
Maybe that will help you narrow your collection down.

Me too! And I remember the first coin I bought and the people I met and the advice they gave. ("Get the Red Book!" -- I did.)

Looks like you had fun, matttheriley. I'd be happy to have any of those coins in my collection.

Thanks everyone! Yes, this was the Salem show!

As far as how diverse my take was: I went there looking to fill some holes in my 7070 (the Bridgeport centennial), in my Canadian Type set (1936 dollar) and in my NZ Type set (half crown). All the other foreign coins were from the 'bins' and a freebie bag that they gave my daughter!

Also, it's still going today if you want to check it out. I don't have anything to compare it to, but it seemed like there was a good selection of stuff.

Did you leave any coins for anyone else?
Sure looks like you went a bit overboard. Are you going to be going to a lot more shows?

@JustCarl, I left one or two! I had a blast, and I hope to attend more in the future. I did get hooked up with the folks from my local coin club, the only problem is they meet the same day during the month that I have another commitment scheduled on. Guess I need to do some juggling!
