Picked this up at my first ever coin show! What do you think?
Grade and FMV?
It's not quite that 'golden' in hand (WB issues).

Thanks,

Matt

I'm going with MS62. The crown jewels look a little worn but this may be due to a weak strike. The rest of the coin looks good.No wear on the reverse. I have one where the jewels look the same and it still got a ICCS grade of MS63.

58 was my first thought. The lighting probably isn't showing off the lustre that I suspect may be there. So MS60 or 62 is possible.

MS-60 ICCS would frown on the field scratches! ah! the canoe has details in the middle of the canoe and it is sort of worn away. no higher than a MS-60!

first reaction 58/60

the scratch to the right of the date looks "recent" compared to the rest of the more natural dings/nicks (staple marks while being removed from 2x2?).

kills what might have been 62 (for me)

EDIT:
PS, nice pictures and a really nice coin

The long flat-looking area on lower crown band between eye and ear makes me think AU58. Could just be the picture. Not a whole lot of value difference between AU50 and MS62 though, J&M says $35-70. There seem to be hairlines around the date on the reverse. There's over a hundred of these on ebay under $50.

Edit - those are really nice pictures.

AU-58 (Scratch), just looking at the field to the left of his beard on the obverse,
I've had less described as scratched, and the ding above the 1 in the date is more
than a bag mark, as well as the one to the right of the date.
