Yes, another jackpot. I can pick'em.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1922-Peace-...p=true&rt=nc

Recently won this auction. Coins looked nice, and I had a $10 coupon, and got $10 for using Paypal Credit for the first time. So the price was right. The sticky point was a Japan seller, but I went for it anyway. So the coins came really quickly, only took about 6 days. The problem is that all the coins are different than show in the picture The first clue was that the dates on the half, quarter, dime and nickel are different, but the quality is good MS, so technically they aren't a problem, but still not what I bought. The Peace dollar isn't quite as good as in the photo, but might be MS something. My problem is that I still feel like I got an ok deal, but I contacted the seller to see what they had to say about it. They were extremely belligerent and said I was full of it, yada, yada. I might be, except that I video taped the opening of the package, which I told them and the attitude got a little better. My big problem is with the Peace dollar. The one in the listing photo looks a point or 2 (or 3) better than what I got. Seller wants me to send back the item on my dime and then he will reimburse me everything. I have a problem with that. So that's where we stand. We went back and forth several times and have come to a standstill. Seems the bottom line is, do I want to keep them regardless, or open a case and let ebay handle it. Not sure if I'm looking for answers here, more of just a vent/rant. Why can't things just go smooth, and a seller send what they advertise? I know pics would help. Just super busy, will see what I can do.

IMHO...we ALL take a chance when we buy coins sight unseen. Been there, done that and have my share of disappointments of sellers not always being 100% accurate with their descriptions or disclosures not to mention photo shopped pictures. Looking at his / her feedback coins are not their thing and even if you open a case I would doubt you would get your $20 back that you used in coupons reissued to use again. Maybe chalk it up to another ebay disappointment and leave not so positive feedback? IDK

I agree, and I know exactly what you are saying, and that is probably the route I will take. Just too much going on now to have to mess with this nonsense. The part that sticks in my craw is that the seller tried to blame it on me until I said, "Let's go to the videotape." I even offered the seller a chance at a partial refund to smooth things over and be done with it, but they wouldn't even do that. Onward and upward....I'm 'almost' over it.

Here's my Two Cents . Keep what you got but let ebay know about the seller. Also leave a negative feedback with details. We all learn from what we do,hopefully. Simply do not deal with this seller ever again, don't let one bad apple...

You should have received a 1964 half as pictured or 1974 as described. All other denominations should have been as pictured and confirmed as stated. I would have expected the coins as pictured as you did. Me, it would be a negative with "bait and switch" in my feedback. Zero tolerance for me nowadays. Sorry this happened to you.

edit to add - If customer satisfaction is not a top priority for a seller they should not be selling.

Great suggestions. I've never left negative feedback before, but this requires it. Especially when the seller tried to turn the tables on me, and was unreasonable. Thanks for all the support.
