The seller: wilm.basse has these key-dates for sale: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wheat-Penni...047675.l2557While I can't say for certain on the 1909-s vdb (a/c the pics in the cellophane holder are indiscernible) the 1922 plain shows the "L" in Liberty far from the rim when it should merge with the rim. The 1931-s is too blurry to make out. The mistake he made is taking a sharp pic of the 1922 obverse. What worries me, is his Buffalo nickel counterfeits: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Good-Condit...em3a9d5db343The 1914-d and the 1921-s both look cast. He tried to be sneaky by showing "real" common date buff's with the fakes. Seller needs to be removed from ebay ASAP.

I'm sure the buyer of those fakes will leave positive feedback....just sad.

Man, you guys are good. I tried everything to view those pics but couldn't determine anything other than the pics look deceptively bad. Don't buy from anyone who cannot properly present a coin for sale.

Unless something happened recently that I don't know about, the CCW was disbanded about four of five months ago and those links are no longer monitored.

Remember this conversation? Well, that was the only one I remembered. I forgot about this one. I think Bobby had some additional information since then, I am still trying to find it.

It never ends, does it? My buddy, Lee G., will not buy ANY errors on ebay. My Counterfeit errors via ebay, and, certified by PCGS and NGC fooled everybody for awhile, until some guys put 2 x 2 together, and, unraveled the Bulgarian Mint forgeries(errors made on REAL planchets, computer 3-D scans made of Ex-Heritage error sales, and, remade on REAL Dies, and, genuine coins in the mix with the fakes, to fool buyers)...thank goodness I got my $$$$ back, but, I've stopped buying in many areas and denominations. New fake labels, and fake slabs have made buying very interesting, to say the least, as you really cannot tell until slab in hand it's bogus.

As long as the concept of possession has existed, there has always been someone trying to swindle something away from others. It will never change. The only defense is education.
