Hi Folks. I am not a collector of US coins Per say but I do collect errors and oddities. I came across this in a lot unseen I bought from an auction. Yor thoughts would be most appreciated.Its Double dated on all but the 9 has another 9 under it but facing the wrong way.

Sorry CoTW Thats as good as this junk digi microscope from china fitted with lens back to front will get. I have had lots of English coins like that. Actually they are not all that rare here. When you think not so much 1954 as its modern era. But the people who worked in the early 1800. Were not exactly the brightest sparks. You can imagine lack of education and some prob suffered dyslexia. Imagine a narcoleptic working in the mint. Would explain away 99% of all errors lol

This might be coin wrapper damage. I can see enough of the other devices to tell for sure.
