Here's another coin I purchased in 1978 and haven't messed with it. The photos don't capture the color correctly, it is red with some areas of brown. At 3 o'clock on the obverse what looks ugly near the rim is actual some purple toning. A small rim Cud at 12 o-clock on the obverse I never noticed before.

Nice Large Motto.
If it's not MS it's darn close.

Here's the descriptive paper on the flip it came in back in 1978. Talk about a coin that hasn't increased in value at all over the past 36 years!

There's a thin die crack on the lower part of the reverse. Where did you purchase it, do you remember the story behind it before it was yours?

Appears honestly uncleaned and a nice mid-grade 62 or 63.

These are better pictures than on PCGS Photograde!

I can't see any wear, so I will say MS62.
What holds it back is the small patches of discoloration on the right hand side, on the obverse. It may have been mildly treated a long time ago, to prevent bronze disease.

As the patina is slowly forming, the redness is receeding.
