Ouch. A little pricey for my budget. A nice coin, though.

Ya, way too expensive for me. I would probably get one at $99, but am a bit relieved because I can skip this series. Back to the Zombucks and Hercules!

Not really a big fan of it. In the other forum they are saying its a 10 year series, 6 coins a year. That's a 60 coin series. No way I can commit to such a huge series. 179usd x 60 = $10,740 usd. or about $12,486 CAD. Ouch that's a lot of money for 1 series IMO. Big old pass for me

Agree on the numbers Solidifer, but might just buy a few more of this first in series, and then only the ones I really like. Given they will likely sell-out within a week, my guess is a lot of people don't even know this set exists and will need to buy the first off of ebay. Like almost everything, I am probably wrong.

I just got mine and really like the presentation. Don't know if they will sell many of this series, but glad I have the first in the set.
Mine is sitting in the manger of our nativity scene and looks great.
I would be interested in knowing what others think who ordered it. Not sure what to make of the coin not being in a plastic capsule.

Ben,
It is an official New Zealand coin if I remember correctly.

Trying to convince myself this is worth it. Yes, it will be an expensive series to collect... and that is at current, low silver prices. But imagine trying to play catch up on a series limited to 1500 idividually numbered coins. Instant rarity. It will never be worth less. Never? Well if it ever is, then there's always the greater fool on ebay. At least this time the greater fool won't be me.

This one is starting to look like a dud. The site shows they still have 140 remaining.
I like the one I have, but won't order the second unless it looks amazing.

Just checked the APMEX site and it isn't even featured anywhere. Had a devil of a time finding it. And to date there is only one review. I couldn't find anything on the quantity available or left in stock. Where did you see that?

I would love to collect this series, but it is just way too expensive for my budget. If it was the only series I collected, then I could. There's too many things I like to buy.
