This visit turned up quite a bit also. I never imagined that I would find this much stuff in one park. Unreal.

WOW!

that's kinda nuts. I really should start doing that cause I'm in the outskirts of Memphis and there are a LOT of old fields and property spots that used to have houses 100 years ago

Neat finds, but not reassuring that you are apparently finding live ammo in the park though.

Thanks Jim. Never thought I would enjoy it as much as I do.

Yes Grace it is kinda crazy isn't it. Those old places are definitely worth a look. I'm trying to locate some around here.

The kicker to this Scottishmoney is it's right across the street from the cop shop. Can't feel safe anywhere anymore.

Richard, the last thing I ever expected to find was live ammo. Kinda makes you wonder where we are headed especially if you are finding them at schools.

When my wife was teaching down in Texas she found a .38 out on the playground once. What is really disturbing is that apparently these are being handled by kids as curiousities and coming to school etc. to show off to friends. Now why kids have access to guns and ammo is completely the fault of stupid or non-existent parents.

They should stick to bring Mercury dimes to school and losing or spending them. Yes my wife got a couple of those one day when she was working the lunch line.

I am so glad my kids are out of school. I just seems to get worse.

Is that some little cast metal armadillo?

It is an armadillo. It seems to be made of lead and looks like it was a pin of some sort. On the side is a small crest or something that says lone star on it.
