I've never seen this before...

Any ideas? Possibly Trails? "D" in "GOD", "E" in "WE", "TRUST" - Machine Doubling, Tripling?

Thanks for the link, Rackster. Other than the Legend pics, I don't see any other markers. Possibly a dot in "GO".

I'll add pics of the obv and rev.

Sounds like a plan Steve. There are several specimens to compare to for the year but at quick glance, this looked close. I'll be away from the computer for a bit, so I'll check when I get back. Nice trails just the same! I'd put that into a flip.

I've come across several of these trail dies. I always throw them back into the wild. Is there a pretty good premium on these varieties? Or in other words, should I be saving them?

Sorry. This is Die Deterioration. Happens to the devices on the motto when the die gets very old. Not trails.

I was wondering... I have run across several just like this. Always thought it was die wear. Also, I have come across a few that looked like the actual die trails, but I again throw them back. My main focus has been on DDO and DDR varieties. Should I be saving these other varieties for premium value. Or should I say is there much of a premium on them?

The trails are a modest premium except when you find the real strong ones.
