measles

I am not a Canadian collector but seems like with their coins, doubled dies are a dime a dozen and dot gets you a million. a 180 with U.S. coins...Maybe the 2 mints should get together and figure out their issues!

This cannot possibly be a serious poll/question. Sigh.

Are we hunting for the dot in the right field near the band,...or the doubled mark just above it near the edge of the photo..?

With a little spark,..we could add dots all over these cents..

Bellmaker if that is your coin the dot is in the correct spot. I have seen many coins with die chips in various spots but try and find another with the dot in that exact spot. Hang on to that one for sure as it is a high grade and will be worth money down the road.Ask Randy about the dot as he is looking for one in good shape. Some people on this site make a joke about it because they can not find one.

There are lots out there of this so called variety. Just another coin with a die chip flaw. Actually not that difficult to find lots of this related material out there if you have loads of time and a 16 power combined with a bucket load of small cents to look through.

Oh Crap. I haven't got that particular dot cent.
The only one that I have has a dot just under and between the 9 and 3.
