I was looking through a bankroll of Thomas Jefferson Presidential dollars and found a couple of these that look like they were unfinished. do they have any value?

I would have thought so if it wasn't in the middle of the roll.

Both sides the same or is the dull edge on just one side? If so it may have been something happened on the stock material that dulled that area? If on both side, who knows? Just may have been a piece of defective stock?

This is just on the reverse side from a non-mint bank roll.
Thanks.

The Mint doesn't roll coin. I'm inclined to believe it' just less-than-flawless planchet stock or wash.

The rolls are rolled with paper that has the Prez on them and you can see it was printed on the paper as you can see it on the under layer of paper. But the mint sell rolls of dollars:

So it maybe from a roll sold from the mint? Hard to say what the inside rolls look like?

Thank you, I just don't really get coins like this out of a bank roll.
