Do you think this counts as an error? or it's a common finding!?!

Take a look on:
1- E on the word "WE"
2- The distance between ST on the word "TRUST"
3- The L from LIBERTY really close to the coin edge.

What do you guys think?

I think your images are too small for me to render a reasonable opinion.

Try separate images for each spot in question to be able to have them larger

That picture doesn't have any more detail than your first one. We need closeups of the E and the S T area.

to CCF. Looks like a normal coin of that year to me.

I agree with John - a normal cent. On the older designs the devices are closer to the rim and often blend with it in older die states. Looks like an old die clash witness mark by the 1. You might inspect the coin for additional evidence.

Welcome to the mix here!

There was a case of master die doubling that year. I checked my images and I had an image from a page of the book "Looking through LINCOLN CENTS" by Charles Daughtrey. It shows the Master die doubling, plus there was a minor doubled die on the tops of LI on LIBERTY. Note in the images the space between the ST is normal for that year.

Page 205. It is a handy book as it describes what things are of interest/common on different years of cents from 1909-2004. A good book for a quick reference if you have one.
