jerry Valued Member Canada 109 Posts	Posted 06/15/2016 7:12 pm Other errors in the Newfoundland series specifically the 1940 and 1941 cent were not deliberately created by the mint and as such are errors. The 1940 RPD 5 cent was deliberately re-punched and therefore is a variety and a scarce one at that. There are two very nice examples shown here. The last example is an ANACS AU-53. Examples have been acknowledged by ANACS and ICCS that I'm aware of. Report this Post to the Staff
