Placed an advert on Gumtree and met for coffee this morning. This man seems to do well from charity shops....anyway I parted with some cash and walked away with over 100 Canadian and NFLD coins. Very mixed grades. Having gone through them I put two large groups on e-bay but the others I might keep or sell individually. All I have checked for so far is that the A does not point directly to the denticle. I will list what I have and post scans of specific coins if requested. I will post up a few anyway....hope I did OK...marbury Edited by marbury518 12/30/2014 3:44 pm

The lists that you posted....are they all of the coins? the ones that your keeping? or the ones you are listing on ebay? Nice score on all of the silver, and a 1925 cent to boot.

I have posted two groups on e-bay that do NOT include any of the coins posted on here. So these ones will need double checking for any varieties I imagine......I doubt I will be keeping all of them.....need to make at least 50 or 60% of my outlay back really. marbury

all depends how much you paid for these! (and as mentioned possible varieties especially in the Vickies) until that is known... the jury is out.

Not sure I want to say how much but I am not feeling that comfortable about it yet....I will need to see how those two groups do on e-bay....

Those would keep me busy for a while..nice I have yet to order a coin from outside of Canada but I'm curious to know, is there duties to pay or extra taxes charged to these coins for Canadian residents?

I would post them, stipulate 'collectibles' and write value $15!

Anyone see a variety on my 1859 please? The inner part of the nine is a bit grubby but concerned about cleaning it....my nine year-old daughter thinks N9 DP5.... Fingers crossed but ready to be disappointed.
