What it looks like compared to the 1921-D that CCF has graded as a 64/63:

Pay no regard to the grade on the back, it is my opinion and IS definitely subject to change:

Not sure if the obverse die was worn or not, so I'll go AU58. Nice coin.

I'd guess MS62 at the most for a TPG grade on it.

Looks like a slider to me. Either a 58 or a 63.

It's either an AU58 or MS62/63. I can't really tell from the photos posted.

Definitely circulated but a deceptive mismatch between an old obverse and a fresh reverse. I can't go 58 because of the obverse but 55 feels too harsh. It's the grade I'm offering anyway, and that casts a little bit of doubt on the originality of the toning. Circulated coins generally aren't held under circumstances conducive to natural toning, but Morgans are more likely to go that route so this example could well be natural. All the same it kind of reminds me of toning which happened after the surfaces had been stripped with the thick color band and abrupt transitions to lesser toning.

Agree better reverse, but lean toward 55.

I've since gotten rid of the 1887. Turned a profit of $15
