Hey there everyone, I hope you all have had a good Christmas and New years! I am wondering of how long it takes for one to start receiving 2015 coins in circulation. I know from experience that Janury and Febuary are both very hard to find them. In addition what British Columbian Bank will support me in getting rolls of 2015 coins? RBC/ TD bank?

Thanks!

The last two years in Vancouver I had a lot of luck getting mint wrapped rolls from the bank of Nova Scotia. I usally pick up 3 or 4 rolls each of nickels, dimes and quarters and just put them away.

From my personal experience, I usually start seeing coins of the new year sometime around May. Either the banks here receive mint coins later in the year or people snatch them up before me.
As for the mint rolls, I have no idea. I've never seen any, but I assume that getting one from a bank is possible?

go to your bank..go to the commercial teller... ask if they order boxes of coinage.. tell them you're interested in picking up boxes that will have new 2015 coins in them... I have found my local RBC to be very helpful in ordering bundles of notes and boxes if/when I have needed.

Ok yes I believe I have a family member in which has an account with RBC, plus I have heard that they are good for that so... Thanks for all of your thoughts/ replies.

I believe the quarters are now wrapped in paper.
