dear old grandad, left behind some Franklins for me.i would like to see if I have some of collectible value.i think four collectors is worth more than one pcgs.ok iam going to edit this comment becuase in hindsight it does sound a bit racist.what I meant is if four people tell me it looks like a duck and flies like a duck,i don't need to pay pcgs to tell me its a duck.thanks again for your time.

Pictured would most certainly help, but generally Franklin halves are worth their weight in silver unless they are uncirculated or proof

Figure they are worth about $7 each retail if undamaged.

Exactly what I was thinking The Silver Searcher, and I would only buy them as junk silver unless they were unc or proofs.

what I mean by four collectors is that I could be pretty close to a coin grade by averaging your opinions to a happy medium on a grade.the pictures I took are to big of a file to upload even after optimization. so I will try again this afternoon.thanks and happy new year.

It's hard to say without pictures. Like others, I agree you may only get around $7 a piece for them.
On the other hand, I sold my high grade, complete set two years ago and bought a pontoon boat for the wife and I with the money.

Note: Love the boat, but miss that Franklin set to this day!
