Hi all, I am a new member here at coin community and I was curious on the exact weight of different types of classic US coins. I think it would be helpful to new collectors like me to make sure they are legit coins or does anyone know a website where they list the weights for specific types of coins?

Welcome to Coin Community. We have that information for you right here. Look to the column of links to the left for "US Coin Facts." We have every US issue listed in pretty significant detail.

You can also check A Guide Book To United States coins. Also called the " RedBook" it's essential to any beginning collector.

Honestly, there's so much stuff here we know nobody's going to figure it all out very quickly. We're more than happy to point out relevant onsite information.
