I am offered this coin (online, which means I can't measure it) at the price of about 120$ US.

I haven't dealt with Trade dollars before so I don't have any experience with detecting fakes or counterfit - could you assist?

I don't know much either, but looks cleaned. Will wait for others opinions.

One of the more common issues, but at that price for its apparent condition it's hard to believe it's genuine. It's really risky buying these raw (or even "certified", since slabs are faked, too) without having it in hand first.

The coin shows no clear signs of being a counterfeit but it is probably the single most common fake in your part of the world. If it's cleaned, it is probably worth that money, but the price is very low for a righteous coin in that grade. I can't comfortably advise you to buy it without assured return privileges.

Those rim dings on both sides are real, too.

Aye, cleaned but otherwise in "good shape." I'm not seeing any immediate red flags after a quick once-over.

The odds are very slim that it's a counterfeit so if you can (as SsuperDdave suggested) get assured return privileges and you have a place in your collection for it, I'd say go for it.

I lean towards genuine but it appears to be cleaned.

It is so harshly cleaned I would avoid it for that reason alone.
