I'm going with fakes, but higher resolution photos are required to be certain.

From the small pics, I would not be so quick to assume that they are all fakes (although they very well may be). If the OP could post larger pics of the individual items the members here can assess them one by one.

I personally wouldn't want these getting into anyone's hands other than a legitimate dealer who would use them as examples. Yes, these are obviously bad fakes to those who have seen Trade dollars before, but most folks wouldn't know that. I know there are a lot of these out there but I wouldn't personally sell them to anyone for fear of them being eventually marketed as legitimate. That's just me though.

I'm not going to say they are all fakes, because I haven't seen a closeup of each coin.
However, the 1873 you have pictured is fake. Two things stood out immediately to me: 1. The eagle's right wing touches the top and middle arrow. It should only touch the top one. 2. The E in "E Pluribus Unum" is directly below the first T in STATES. It should be at the very right of the first S in STATES.

As common as Trade dollar counterfeits are, we should assume they're all fakes and address the question the OP is asking: is it worthwhile to sell these? The answer is, "Sure, if you're into being a felon yourself or an accessory to a felony." These are not marked COPY. You can probably get away with selling them, but not legally. They can be offered as real, since they're not marked. And the only human being on Earth I personally know you could trust selling them to is Steve Caruso.

Considering the 1879-1885 were only proofs and the last two years mintage total 15 coins I would not believe the validly of this set.

It's very common for counterfeiters to sell fakes in albums nowadays. Sadly, you can get them off of any of the major Chinese retail and supply websites and folks selling them show up at the local pawn shops over here all the time. (The jewelers and pawn brokers here are usually savvy enough to check them with a button magnet first as most are magnetic.) If you're looking to get rid of them, do not sell them as genuine numismatic items. You'll be in a lot of trouble. There are some counterfeit collectors out there ( like me) but since December of last year it's become more inconvenient to collect counterfeits due to the strengthening of marking requirements. Regardless, law enforcement tends to be lax about counterfeit sales for educational purposes or the sale of well-established contemporary counterfeits (like Henning nickels or Capped Bust half dollars, which are quite collectable and have had an audience for years). They're much more interested in -- and tend only to have enough resources towards -- stopping the flow of fakes being passed off as real for ill-gotten profit. So, please be careful. :)

The answer to your question is the fakes can be purchased from chinese sources for probably less than $10 each. The Dansco album is worth about $15 or $20 depending on if you can find a buyer. The US minted Trade dollars are typically collected in TPG slabs. (at least I would)

coreycoins, assuming that they are fakes, IMHO you have 27 x $0, which is still $0. One additional caveat is that some fakes have been made from a silver alloy (and therefore have some intrinsic/melt value ).
