Ok, so I needed a picture of a 1955 double die for a project, so of course I goggled "1955 double die" The third e-bay coin was listed for $150 so I chuckled and thought "i wonder how bad this fake is!" Then, I look at the sale name, and it was "1955 Lincoln Cent Poor Man's Double Die- Well Struck And Lots Of Doubling! They even acknowledge that it the Poor Man's double die, which is caused by Die Deterioration witch brings no extra premium! Sigh... ebay needs to get better. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/151513...id=82&chn=ps
Thanks for listening to my rant! Anyone else get frustrated with ebay and error coins?

When I started to search my bags of LWC (1/2 Million count), two years ago, I started to put aside the "poor mans DDO"; from 1955.

It did not take long to figure out that this was a very easy thing to find.

In fact, after 2 years of searching, I can safely say that the hardest 1955-P LWC to find is a WELL STRUCK, non "poor mans", non "Cracked skull, non worn die specimen.

You never said if you got your good picture of a 1955 double die.
I've got an ANACS AU-55 but the image is rather dark.
Rest in Peace
