I couldn't possibly narrow it down to just one, but let me just say I am in love with proof coins, especially classic proofs.

Owned = My 1841 petite head large cent...

Whats-Your-Favorite-Coin?-Fantasy-Or-Owned

Fantasy = Maybe a double eagle of some sort? Or a really really lustrous braided hair cent like my digital avatar image.

In other words, something strikes my fancy about certain large cents. I don't like the "classic head" or "booby head". I like the earlier ones, and the late ones, but I'm just not much on the caricature of the middle dates.

Right now, this one. A recent acquisition. It took me a while to find one that "fit" my album.

I wish I had taken a better photo of it (with something more than a smart phone). She is much nicer in hand.

Pan Pac Exp $50 octagonal.
I have had both the round and the octagonal sitting in the palm of my hand at an auction view day.
Easy to remember: 4 ounces of gold!

I jokingly asked:
" What would the premium above melt value would these have?"

My dream coins would be a set of 1794 Large Cents by Sheldon numbers. A Two Cent Piece major error set, capped dies, brockerages, off center coins, etc, an 1864 Small Motto Proof Cameo, and an 1864 Large Motto Proof cameo.

This one would do nicely!

I like my 1932 d Washington quarter. It is one of two that my grandfather was unable to pull from circulation and I purchased an XF45 to complete that set that he started.
if you are talking series, I like Morgans.

I love my AG-3 ish 1857 Flying Eagle cent. It's what got me hooked. I'm also a huge fan of my 1904-O morgan.

Fantasy, which someday will happen I hope, is a $20 gold piece!
