1959 Camera Error Or Mint Error? - Coin Community Forum

I've been working on this coin intermittently all day, trying to get a picture of that notch in different modes. What do you guys think? Oh and this is uncirculated from local coin shop, out of the 1959-1970 series in sealed plastic wrapping. Report this Post to the Staff

I would to see the eye area and the LIBERTY to see if there is minor hub doubling. But so far nothing major. kurdlezuit Pillar of the Community United States 1034 Posts	Posted 01/08/2015 12:29 am Yeah I checked out coppercoins and wexlers. Couldn't find anything. I knew the dies were worn out. Was taking a picture of the inside of the 9 withe the die chip. And what looks like tripling, of probably Machine Doubling? Then I saw the 5, and well, like I said, L all day long. Make that the motto. (Why I typed EPU, I don't know?) But back to the reason for the extra images on LIBERTY, the hub doubling is not there. The eye shows not a doubled eyelid. The reason I asked for that in case the 19 looking larger might be explained by that. The nose looks a bit funny with the line on it? But image the "TRU" on TRUST might show something if there is anything there on your coin. Report this Post to the Staff
