Hope these pics are ok. picked this up today at a local shop for a quarter out of a bin. Am I correct this is a lamination?

Could be. A closer image might show more of it. I've seen this before where it ran across the hole obverse:

Ok. Ill have to pick up a stronger loop. That is similar. The front seems more cracked where the back has the peeled effect. Would it be common to effect front and back in the same spot?

I've found them there you can see the same direction of lamination on them.

But not a big demand for these unless they are major laminations.
