Until I looked at the envelope it came in again. Thanks for all of your opinions! The story behind this coin goes back to My Grandfather and My,not quite yet,Grandmother. The note that was folded around it,hand written,in a hand folded envelope,and a small stamp to seal it,said:"Dearest --------,These silent messengers brings my message of good cheer and best wishes to you on this new years day. From your Dearest friend -------. with Happiness,Hope and Love" It is dated 1926 as well.So,I'm assuming,that He got the coin some time later in the year/s? I can't say for sure.
