Does that mean it is worth more than face?

Yes, it is worth more than face value.

Wholesale "buy" on a fine 5$ red seal is about 6$. Yeah, it is not worth much more than face value but it is still collectible.
Rest in Peace

Definitely a keeper, might not be more than face, but it is. You could get more from it if you were to sell it as a lot with other red seals. That is, however, if you wanted to sell it.

Interesting. I didn't think it would be a keeper. $6 isn't a whole lot, but it is something.

Keep that $5, spend the $100. You'll likely never receive another red seal in change in your life.
