I would like advice on it's approximate value. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Cheers, Robert

I am not familiar with notes from Canada, but on a US note a part of the design missing would be required for a premium for misalignment.
I cannot speak on the rarity or condition, sorry.

It's same in Canada, there isn't a premium unless part of the design is cut.

Out of the three signatures for the 1937 $100, Gordon-Towers appears to be the most common one (followed by Coyne-Towers, and Osborne-Towers command the highest prices). I'll leave the grading for those more experienced, but I don't like what looks like blue pen writing on the front left.

That blue pen writing could of been done in 19 like 50, isn't that kind of cool? It wouldn't be cool if it was in MS condition like that though.

As stated above, the mis alignment is not enough to be considered an error. In fact this mis alignment would make this bill less desirable. Also consider the fact that it is quite worn with at least one visible tear and writing on both sides and its the most common signature, its worth no more then face value. You may find a guide that will tell you its worth $110, but you won't find anyone willing to pay you the $110. Sorry.

TFRED is absolutely right, misalignment in notes actually harms the value, as once in UNC range, the centering is one of the main criteria for grade. Also, I woild put your note around VG10-20, with a value of around $140. Possibly higher grade/higher value if I saw in in person.

Also SLUREXE97 is correct in the value tiers. Ozzy/Towers is the moat desierable, easily fetching $2000-$2500 in only AU condition, 5 grand easy in UNC.
