Every set of dies is assigned a VAM number, which has identifying features of that die or that pair of dies. That means that all Morgan and Peace have VAMs. Certain VAMs are worth more than others, such as the Top 100 (http://www.vamworld.com/Top+100+Morgan+VAMs). Some VAMs are only worth more to a VAM collector.
Rest in Peace

VAM refers to the die variety number. Even common coins can have very rare die varieties. Other types of coins will have different letters corresponding to their die varieties. For instance Capped Bust halves have O short for Overton numbers.
