I went to my local drive through beverage barn last night and picked up a couple of penny rolls along with my purchase. I opened the first roll and found three cool coins, one had a filled G in God, the other had a die chip on the top right of the memorial and the third is the one in the pics. I looked on the coppercoins website and couldn't find this coin so I thought I would ask your opinion. Any feedback is greatly appreciated, Louis

Looks very interesting. But a better example would be nice. I don't see a listing on coppercoins for one like that. I checked Wexler's site and no match there either. Did you find it locally? If so, then there may be more in your area? (This happens sometimes as shipments of some runs are distributed in one area or sometimes two.) But a keeper till we know more about it.

I found it local at a store just south of San Antonio, Texas. I will put it in a 2X2 and hold on to it

It does look very interesting. Maybe a dip in acetone is required? The condition looks a bit low.Maybe B J Neff wants to see it?

It may have spent some time in a fountain. I would be very careful with it. I would just put mineral oil on it and dab it dry with a plain facial tissue. No rubbing.
