Nice Japanese coins
Thanks for posting.

I have a chance to purchase a Dansco type set album
for Japanese coins.

And like seeing the different coins that would be needed.

Another Kruger Gray design - 1932 Great Britain halfcrown. The halfcrown was demonetised from 1st January 1970 as part of the preparations for decimalisation. 50% silver specimens like this could still be found in change quite easily up to the end of 1969:

The design for this French 25 Centimes was 1917 to 1940. Copper-Nickel was replaced in 1938 with Nickel-Bronze. Mintage was 30+ million in 1932.

GR58 - no more different Japanese coins for another 10 days or so.
A type set might not be too hard, as long as it does not have gold and the very rare 10 & 50 sen coins from 1918-1919. A Trade dollar would be the most expensive coin, followed by the 1870 one yen.

Thanks for the information ... with my luck it
will have the harder coins.

But it is a Dansco album .. or so the owner says.
I have not seen it ... if it is a Dansco album
I will get it.

I am glad you posted the 1932 Quarters, muddler. Would be a shame otherwise.

GR58 -
google for "japan dansco type set"
There are pictures of a complete album.
It does not have any gold or super rare recalled coins/patterns etc.

I found one 10 sen with the previous year's (1932 = Showa 7) design:

Thanks again Bungle

I did a search and found a very good link and information about this album.

I hope the album this guy has is as nice looking as that one.

I am doing the Canda and Mexico type sets, may as well do
Japan. And I need to get better at figuring out Japanese dates.
