Hi. I was wondering if anyone knows what these coins are worth roughly. I have an idea of what they are based on what they say, but I don't know much about them. Thanks!

One is a 1793 Yorkshire Half Penny Token (Payable in Sheffield) (Looks like a striking error on the reverse side)

One is a 12 Pence Bristol Silver Token. To Facilitate Trade Issue in Bristol, Aug 12, 1811.

One is a 1796 Hunters token. Payable at Niblock. General Commission and sale room. Bridge Street Bristol.

One is a WW1 medal. Great Britain war medal from 1914-1918. Silver.

The tokens are necessity money struck in Britain in that time.
Needs better picture for someone to fully identify and judge the quality of those.

I think I can see enough details, from the description, to give a catalogue ID.

#1: D&H# Yorkshire 56. This coin comes in three edge varieties, engrailed (looks like the edge on this coin), milled (looks like the edge of a typical Canadian quarter) or plain. Given that yours appears to have some manufacturing defects (off-centre reverse and a clipped planchet), I'm guessing "plain edge". CV in the British token catalogue is £16 in British VF condition; I have no idea if the minting errors would make the value of yours go up, or down.

#2: D# Somersetshire 23 to 29 - I'm afraid the catalogue doesn't go into detail about differentiating the varieties, but it doesn't affect the price: £65 in EF.

#3: D&H# Somersetshire 99 to 101. CV £14 in VF.

#4: This medal is supposed to have a ribbon attached; any catalogue listing it would give a price for one still with its ribbon and medal collectors aren't going to pay too much for one without it. I can only suggest looking on ebay and seeing what other ribbon-less medals are selling for; There's one up right now asking for $100, but I think that's a bit of a stretch given that intact ones sell for around $50. Prices for medals also can depend on who it is awarded to, if they fought with famous units or famous battles. Does it have a name or service number engraved on the edge?

R C Bell describes your first token as "scarce", which does not tally with the quoted value of £16. Bell was writing in 1963, so it is possible more have turned up since then. The arms on the reverse are the "Cutler's Arms".

From Bell again, your 3rd token is 1795 payable at Niblock and Hunters, who were auctioneers. Two and a half tons were struck. At about 5000 to the hundredweight, this gives an estimated mintage of 250,000.

Thefirst coin is a Conder token.
James Conder was the first to make a catalog of these provincial coins.
