Hello everyone, I'm used to collecting perfect ASE's. I've recently started collecting pennies. Naturally I hunt for errors. Only problem is I'm not always confident in what I find. Looking for everyone's opinion. Looks like a double earlobe. Doesn't look like other pics I've compared it with. No doubling on his chin, but the coin does have some wear.

Thank you for the replies. To me it looks like Lincolns ear is pierced. Which I thought could be doubling. I guess just normal wear of the coin made me think that. My eye will get better and eventually I'll stop posting normal pennies. Thanks again.

Knowing what the doubled ears look like help to find them. Here are a few:

Note how the shape is showing hub doubling. Machine/circulation damaged coins don't make them a doubled die, as the die is the issue, not coin contact.
