You are correct, they are not scarce. The one you want is the 1960-P Small Date which has some premium value to it.

The Lg/Sm date Denver 1960's are about half and half. So they are not the premium coin. The Small date Phillies are.

I NEVER found a 60 Philly small but found MANY Denver.
On the small date, the initial stroke of the 6 is well to the left of the final loop.
On the large date, that initial stroke is perpendicular to the final loop.

YES! Keep it for future reference as a 60 Philadelphia may turn up.
You'll want to check it.

There is also an inside loop area that will tell you that is is a small date:
