It's obviously circulated but most people will save STAR notes.
Rest in Peace

There were 1.2 mil. stars printed for that series and FRB.

I don't know what you mean by double quad.

Me neither. Maybe 4 of the same number in a straight of 4? At least for the second one...nothing quad-ish about the first one.

Here's the website to look up star notes http://mycurrencycollection.com/ref...notes/lookup

Most collectors seek runs of 640,000 or less. The lower the run the better.

Some save every star they get and some spend them unless it is a low run or they like it in some way.

Sorry, I should have been more clear in my post.
MeadowviewCollector has it right.

There's still reason to keep the star note if you want. You could keep one from every series, or every FRB, or every denomination.

As for the quad, I don't think it matters until you get at least 6 of the same number or four of one and four of another. Some people like five of a kind for playing currency poker.

If you're looking to put together a currency collection of fancy serial numbers, go ahead and keep that one until you find a better one.

Happy hunting!

So do collectors go by total printed or run aize? I see total printed were 1.2mil but run size was 640,000 for this series

There's a very good reason. It's only a dollar. Save it and enjoy it. Or give it away in the 2015 Secret Santa event.
