Depending on what you have. I prefer 2X2 for storage on premium coins. Some like flips, but a bad experience with soft vinyl flips ruined them for me. I know they make safe ones, but I still like 2X2's.

Non premium coins I put into hard tubes. There is a soft plastic square tube that turns BU coins. It is OK with circulated coins. But I prefer the hard square or round tubes.

Books can turn coins if they are BU, even Dansco albums can affect them. The cheaper albums are even worse.

I can depends on what and how you collect.
If you are taking coins from pocket change, press in albums are fine.

If you go the flips and album pages way, just don't use soft PVC flips in PVC album pages.
Mylar / cardboard 2x2 flips in Mylar or polypropylene album pages are the only way to go.

Album pages for slabs are also available but they take up a lot of volume.
