This may have happened during the ejection of the the coin? But note how it reduces the size of the mint mark at the top. A true RPM would be enlarged. This example is not the same year, but note how the RPM affect the mint mark. It enlarges the overall size of the mint mark: See how the separate punches of the punch can be seen?
On the image that I posted. Note the reduced area on the left side of the mint mark on the upper loop near the arrow in that area? That is what you are seeing on your coin. (I tried editing my post and it keeps locking up on me?)
