I know it's a relatively high mintage but just found this one roll searching-decent condition? *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

That's a really solid roll find, nice job!
Unfortunately I think I see a bit of wear on lincoln which would keep it from MS.
It's a nice AU-55RD though

Looks like it has progressive design transfer on the reverse:

The experts call it transference through the die. But I think it is related to the dies being reduced by die polishing so much and were over worked on the outline of the bust that it left a flat spot on the die as it removed part of the design outline. But they don't see it that way. So I give their explanation of it instead.

Nice looking coin, I agree with it being AU-55. Coop - I thought you where the expert. I would disregard the "expert opinion" and substitute yours in place.

I do a lot of CRH and just love it when a penny that just glows falls right into you lap ! I always put it in a 2 X 2 coin holder or it goes in one of my books. Kinda the feeling you get when you get a winning lottery ticket !

In my opinion there is no way this is an AU. It has to at least be a 63-64RD. Progressive Design Transfer is a yes, and the die crack is pretty interesting. Great find!

Quote: In my opinion there is no way this is an AU. I see slight wear on the hair, check, jaw bone, a little on the ear, on the suit and also I think I can see some wear on the wheat and "One Cent" In my opinion it would not grade above AU.
