Very nice fields, maybe just reflective enough to be considered semi-prooflike. Nice golden toning creeping in from the periphery. Plucked from the "we don't really want to bother with these" tray at one of the dealers I frequent.

pretty, pretty, pretty coin. I don't think it makes semi pl though...I think it could make prooflike.

Dealer must have some stunning coins if this is something he/she doesn't want to bother with. Nice!

Looks like it has some circulation. Maybe its the lighting but I'm not seeing a lot of luster. Could have been dipped at some point. AU58

It seems way too nice to be in that bin. Another nice pick!

No luster issues with this whatsoever. Full mint bloom, with cartwheel effect. Absolutely uncirculated, and since nobody's put a number in that range to it yet, I'll say that I'm thinking MS65 is not at all out of the question. That hardly makes it a rarity, PCGS alone has certified over 32K of this issue at that level. I'll reiterate that I still don't believe it's prooflike, I just don't see reflectivity of sufficient clarity to get there, although there's a distinct cameo-esque contrast between the devices and the fields.

Hard to tell from photos, but from what I can see at least mid MS.

Allow me to explain - this is something of a specialty operation with a clientele for certain high end rarities. They have a retail counter, and will buy material that "walks in" but stuff like common Morgans (which other shops might send in for certification to make a few more bucks off of) are not really their meat and potatoes. That makes them an excellent place to "bottom feed" so to speak (which, I admit, is sort of how I roll anyway), thus I do so there regularly. I don't mind at all being a ready buyer for their "turn it over" acquisitions.
