Doesn't remind me of any coin I know. With both sides equal it is most likely some sort of token. But wait what others have to say.

My first post to get my feet wet.
It strikes me that what's written on both sides is "Second". It also has a modern look to my eyes. Maybe a 1700-1800's locally made runners up medallion or admittance token or class distinction token for use on trains or ships.
