On C&C Coin site the "P" variety shows to be worth a bit more, is it due to lower volume in production perhaps a shortage of dies with the "P" mark? I've not been able to get that confirmed.

In the past 2 weeks I've found 4 CRHing, one circulated and the other 3 spotless so mid-high MS I'm guessing.

Appreciate any info on these, thanks. Cheers.

Only 5 million 2000P are minted, compared to 106 million 2000 no P. Like the 2001 no P, only 30 million were minted, but 137 million 2001P were minted.

They're not common, but in relative to the non-plated coins it is getting more common. As more 2001 no P get removed from circulation by the ARP, the 2000P becomes more common in relative. Soon people will be finding less 2001 no P, compared to the 2000P.

Lucky you. I have only 2 of 2000P, and 3 of 2001 no P found roll hunting for half a year in Mississauga.

ty Slur, for that great info, now I get it and now I have to go back through some rolls, I put back in a few 2001 no P's tonight. I believe the coins I'm going through were a fellow a few side roads over, he brought over 25,000 bucks in change to the bank. He'd been saving all his change since about 1970. I bought 26,000 pennies off him last year lol.

LOL I asked the exact same question but for both the 2001 and the 2000, it seems I cant go a day of searching nickels and not find 3 or 4 of both of these. I have literally stopped keeping the 2001, as I have 2 or 3 rolls, I have 2 rolls of the 2000p, and will likely stop keeping these as well.

Shafta, I've no Idea where to begin, low to high MS in 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 00-12. Rotated, clips almost every error you can think of 53sf's, all the 47-49's, a few 20's and 30's, quite a few 40's. Couple a 1979 full double date oh my the list goes on. Going through about 6,000 pennies right now and some good finds, 2006 no mark mag finally lol. Lot's of high MS reds 60's and up, a pretty nice score on this batch, have to pick up another 60 rolls today from the same lady of this batch. So in a nutshell all the finds are more than paid for.

WOW.. What great finds M_D..

I never find anyone with a bunch of pennies or anything else they want me to go through, except one time the local Church had a big batch of coins they wanted rolled... they asked me..

I always ask people no matter where I go, I also tell them to seel them to me for an extra 10 cents on the dollar, win win and usually people call me within a few days cause they are making a bit on them. Then the finds are my time and expenses covered. In the past few months with about 4 pennies sold I made about 250.00. Nice pay for a fun hobby. The ones I sold I don't collect. Just keep asking and post a sign in your local corner store.........will buy pennies/extra 10 cents on the dollar. That's how I got that big score last winter.
