...just in case you missed the last opportunity. I think there are 3 available. The description is really hilarious. The only thing they failed to mention is that the rolls were cryogenically frozen, which is why the coins look so good

I'm almost sure the reverse side of the wrappers say "Kroger's". Why would the bank go through the effort of having such fancy wrappers made and then print the $20 so crooked? I'm not buying it.

And he claims to be an ANA member? I cannot find him on the ANA dealer list, although maybe he lied about the item location.

That particular bank was opened in 1875, being called The Carson City Savings Bank. It wasn't until 1882 it was named the Bullion and Exchange Bank. Later, in 1903, it was renamed again, this time called the State Bank and Trust Company. It finally closed its doors in 1907.

Just thought I would share a little history.

It does make one wonder though, how the wrapper and the ink printed on it stayed in such pristine condition all these years now.

Gotta love all the bank checks for the Bullion and Exchange Bank in the background to make it more believable.

Yea, that was my favorite part. I just dream about all the key dates I could buy with the money these guys throw at these rolls.

HP says their ink lasts for decades without fading. Of course that's when used on their paper, not on sliced up grocery bags.

If this guy is from east Texas they could be the real deal. There were five similar rolls sold there a couple of months ago from a bankers estate. Just never know until all the investigation is done.

I'm waiting for the bank wrapped rolls of BU Indians, V-nicks, Barber dimes, quarters and halves to start showing up in the same B&E crimped wrappers.

Surely the original owner of the dollars rolls saved some minor coinage rolls, too?

Drop them an email; I'm sure they can come up with something.

Bidding is already at $5,100.00 for what may be worth $1,200.00. Again, what P.T. Barnum said...

"If you wish to return your roll, it must be kept in its original sealed, untampered with condition." - so, you're pretty much screwed then.

7K, 8K, and 10K for the 3 rolls, and still 2 days left to go.

Looks like these rolls are back plaguing ebay once again. This time being sold by seller bmarc22551 (55). Seller currently has 3 listed and has sold 13 rolls since Feburary 27th. Range of prices realized on sold rolls vary from $1617.00 to $3160.00

OLD $20 SILVER DOLLAR ROLL WITH TRADE & CC CARSON CITY Morgan dollar ENDS

Quote:
$20 Silver Dollar Roll
End Coin #1: S Trade dollar Reverse (Rare Date?)

End Coin #2: CC Morgan dollar Reverse (Rare Date?)

Up for auction is this nice Silver Dollar roll. This roll has held up well and is nice and tight. This roll is marked the Bullion and Exchange Bank of Carson City Nevada. I would assume all mintmarks and dates are possible. This is an incredible opportunity to own something truly unique!
