I do think that the US Mint is mising a trick here by not offering the two dimes by themselves in a set. Regular price for the dollar coin will be $51.95 and the three coin set is $61.95. I am sure that they could charge more than $10 for just the two dimes.

When they say a mintage limit of 500,000 across all coins, how does that usually breakdown for the set? I thought a run of over 100k was considered high for the silver dollar?

I am glad there are a couple post on this, because of the dimes and the commemorative dollar.
I might have missed this set, like I almost did on the SAC dollar last year.

Well, you can go ahead and mark your calander so you don't miss it. The usmint's product schedule has it scheduled to be released noon (ET) on May 4, 2015. It's on my phone and house calander to remind me.
